Staff accounts, roles and permissions, attendance, training records and recruitment, organised around who does what in the business.
LAURUS OPERATING SYSTEM
One operating system. Every part of your business connected.
LOS is the software Laurus Group builds to run its own businesses. Staff, jobs, quality records and customer updates sit in one connected system, with modules shaped to each industry. It is also being developed for selected organisations outside the Group.
Laurus Operating System is part of Laurus Group Limited.

Real software. Connected workflows. Built around your industry.
What LOS does
Eight connected capabilities designed around how your business actually works.
Staff, roles, attendance, training and recruitment.
Staff accounts, roles and permissions, attendance, training records and recruitment, organised around who does what in the business.
Jobs and works orders, tracked to completion.
Jobs and works orders: who they are allocated to and how far along they are, tracked from first request to completion.
The day-to-day running of the business, in one place.
Scheduling, routing and the day-to-day running of the business, kept in one place instead of spread across spreadsheets.
Inspections, NCRs and audit trails, built into the work.
Inspection records, non-conformance reports and audit trails recorded as part of the workflow, not added afterwards.
Staff and customer updates, attached to each job.
Updates and notifications for staff and customers, attached to the job, vehicle or application they relate to.
Dashboards drawn from the team’s own records.
Dashboards and priorities drawn from the same records the team works in, so nothing is re-keyed into a separate report.
Customer portals and apps on the same data.
Customer-facing portals and apps built on the data staff already work from, rather than a separate system to keep in sync.
Modules for garages, recruitment and manufacturing.
Modules for garages and workshops, recruitment and manufacturing, each shaped to how that work is actually done.
How it fits together
LOS is not one giant application. It is a shared foundation for focused industry modules and the customer apps that sit alongside them.
The same approach to accounts, roles and permissions, data security and audit, reused by every module. Each module keeps its own sign-in and its own data.
The LOS ecosystem
How LOS connects technology, business operations, people, customers and future integrations, all growing from one shared foundation.

VisionThis illustration shows the connected system LOS is being built towards, not a list of what is available today. Some areas are live, some are in development and some are future direction. For the real stage of each product, see Who LOS serves.
LOS: growing with you, adapting for you. The illustration, branch by branch. It describes the vision, not current availability.
Who LOS serves
Each product is labelled with its real stage, so what works today is never confused with what is still being built. Named, checkable examples only. No invented customers, figures or testimonials.
For workshop staff and managers, and the customers whose vehicles they look after.
Workshop operations: reception, job cards, technician views, vehicle health reports, invoicing and handover.
The customer app for PaddockDesk garages: vehicle health, service history, MOT and service reminders. An alpha demo, not yet available to customers.
For recruitment consultants, and the candidates and employers they work with.
Running in production for one recruitment business: candidate accounts with email verification, profiles and CV upload, application tracking, employer accounts and staff review workflows.
Independent approved Laurus partner powered by LOS. Its website is live and carries the LOS mark; its candidate and employer portals are in preview and not yet switched on.
MM Recruitment Ltd is independent and not owned by Laurus Group - shown here as an example of LOS powering an organisation outside the Group.
mmrecruitmentltd.co.uk (opens in a new tab)LOS provides recruitment software. It is not a recruitment agency and does not find candidates or fill roles.
Ask about recruitment softwareFor production managers, quality leads and shop-floor teams.
Works orders, attendance, competencies and training, inspections, NCRs and real-time production dashboards, with shop-floor terminals and production routing.
Developed and tested around real production and manufacturing workflows. Not yet commercially available.
Future direction Further industry modules, and LOS for more external organisations, built on the same architecture. They will be added here only once they are real.
Flagship LOS product
PaddockDesk is used by the workshop team, from the front desk to the technician’s tablet to the manager’s view of the day. Every step works from one job record, so nothing is copied between systems.
DevelopingIn alpha. Every step below is built and working except supplier parts ordering, which is still in development.
The vehicle is checked in and a job opened against a single connected record.
Front deskLabour, parts, technician assignment, notes and diagnostics held on one central job card.
Service advisor & managerA phone and tablet view of assigned and current jobs, with start, pause and complete controls.
TechnicianParts are identified and tracked against the job. Live supplier search, pricing and ordering are still being built.
Parts & managerA structured, printable health report, shared with the customer alongside the job.
Technician to customerInvoices are raised from the job and tracked through to payment before the vehicle is collected.
Front desk & managerHealth report, invoice and payment status brought together for a clear final handover.
Front desk to customerCustomer companion
PaddockDesk is used by the garage team. PitstopDash is a separate customer-facing app, built as its companion, so drivers can see what the workshop has found and what their vehicle needs next.
Developing An alpha demo with fictional data. Not yet available to customers, and the connection to PaddockDesk is still being built.
Real software
These screens are from the customer dashboard of Podium Vehicle Solutions, a Laurus Group garage business, shown in its demo mode with no real customer data. Podium’s day-to-day work is shaping how PaddockDesk and PitstopDash are designed.
Vehicle profile, health status, MOT and service summary, and what needs attention next.
A chronological record of work on the vehicle, alongside its MOT history.
Security & infrastructure
The controls a business needs, described plainly. LOS does not claim certifications it does not hold.
Every staff and customer account has a role, and that role is checked on every request, not just hidden in the interface.
Each module has its own database with row-level security, so customers only see their own records and one business’s data is kept apart from another’s.
High-impact actions, such as permanently deleting a record, are logged with who, when and why.
Hosted on Cloudflare’s global network with managed, access-controlled Postgres databases, rather than a single office server.
For your business
LOS is offered to selected organisations outside Laurus Group. If your business runs on spreadsheets, paperwork and disconnected apps, this is how a conversation with us works.
Tell us how your business runs today: the spreadsheets, paperwork and apps your team relies on, and where work gets lost between them.
We will tell you which LOS modules are live, which are still in development, and whether LOS is the right fit for you now.
Where LOS fits, modules are set up around your real processes, with your own accounts, roles and data kept separate from other organisations.
